		<description>Great post.  I used to love the Narnia books when I was a Christian, and I still do.  The Magician&#039;s Nephew was my favorite for it&#039;s account of creation.  I too liked Aslan way more than Jesus.  I disagree with the way C.S. Lewis responded to the boy&#039;s letter; as a Christian I would have said that it&#039;s a form of idolatry.  The problem is that there&#039;s so little historical record of Jesus that it&#039;s easy for anyone to make Jesus out to be the way they want him to be, and I think it&#039;s pretty egotistical of Lewis to say that his interpretation of Jesus is correct.  In all of my earnest searching, that is not what I found Jesus to be.</description>
